Dept LaSalle IL --- RAIN--finally let up just short of IN line.Passed throgh Monticello where Mom was born in 1910. Still a pretty little town. Arrived in Peru IN (Circus City USA). Checked into Honey Bear Hollow RV Park. Nice place -- friendly people. Met Bill and Carolyn Hobbs from Alaska. He was a FAA radar controlller before he retired.

Dept 0900 -- good weather-- TERRIBLE ROADS. MN - WI -IL all need to spend more on their roads. Thought the cabinets would come off the walls. Stopped in Wisc Dells area at a cheese shop. Great stuff. Delayed 1 hour in Rockford IL due to an accident. Into a camp about 630.

Depart at 0930 -- good drive to Stillwater MN

In the AM I reload the coach and try to get everything ready to leave tommorow. Make a run down to the ranch to pick up Gene. Everyone comes to Sharons for a final picnic before we leave. Good time -- lots of talking and laughs. Say our farewells to great bunch of people.

Up in the AM -- Sharon and Gayla do haircut. Lunch and drive to Minot to pick uo the coach. Now running great. Back to Kenmare where Gayla and Sharon make cookies. Eat this nite at Dannys bar in Kenmare. Good Prime rib.
